On Wednesday 8th March, our Single Year (Level 1 and 2) students took part in a progression morning. Students were split into curriculum areas and engaged with employers and sector professionals. They were set a short activity to complete whilst having the opportunity to ask questions about moving into the sector. Students engaged with sectors including Hospitality & Catering, Animal Care, Early Years, Fire Service, Army, IT and Computing, Business, Property, Financial management, Marketing, Creative Arts, Media and Film Production, and Beauty.
Students then had talks by guest speakers on personal wellbeing, including Prevent and Radicalisation, Misogyny, and the NHS Schools Health Team. We would like to thank all the employers, academics, and members of staff who provided their time and support throughout this event.
Bexhill College currently holds the Quality in Careers Standard and is pleased to announce that arrangements have been made for this Standard to be re-assessed in July 2023.
