Our Modern History and Classical Civilisation students were joined by Alice Trickey-Roberts from English Heritage. Alice delivered a talk to the students about careers within the English Heritage charity and the importance of keeping our historical sites alive and cared for.
English Heritage cares for over 400 historic buildings, monuments and sites. This includes prehistoric sites and grand medieval castles. Through these sites with rich history, the charity helps to bring the story of England to life for over 10 million people each year.
Students explored career prospects and the ability to use skills developed in the classroom, with students encouraged to consider a variety of roles within the charity.
