Our Level 2 and Level 3 Hospitality students were joined by Naomi Scully, Event Manager at the De La Warr Pavilion. The Level 2 students were tasked to plan and set up a corporate upcoming event with the potential of helping out on the day.
Naomi delivered a presentation to students about the important processes involved in planning and running events. Our Level 3 students will put these lessons to practice as they plan, prepare, and run an event in the future.
Naomi has kindly offered for some of these students to be shown around the De La Warr Pavilion to see their event spaces. They are also invited to observe meetings with a large organisation to gain experience in the event planning stage.
