Tim Copsey from the British Film Institute (BFI) visited the College to speak with our second-year Creative Media Extended Diploma and Media Level 2 students. Tim delivered a talk introducing learners to the BFI Academy short courses aimed at 16–19-year-olds. The courses focus on teaching young people industry standard practices, and skills for working in a variety of roles in film including, screenwriting, animation, documentary filmmaking, craft skills and filmmaking. Tim also led a storyboard workshop, asking learners to collaborate to write the ending to a film scene.
