Second-year A-Level Politics students were joined by Emmanuel Godin, who teaches Politics and International Relations (IR) at the University of Portsmouth. He talked to the class about what opportunities studying Politics and IR at University might bring, and led a positive discussion on the skills that higher education develops for students of any subject.
Emmanuel also highlighted to students the benefits of pursuing what interests them, rather than choosing a degree thinking solely of employability. This seemed to resonate with the class, many of whom are at the stage of thinking about what is next following their studies at Bexhill College.
