Today Bexhill College held its annual Engineer of the Year awards ceremony. We had a fantastic turn out with over 70 students attending. To make it even more prestigious this year we had our principal, Karen Hucker, attending to present the prize to our winner.
We had seven nominees and one winner who showed that by working hard you can achieve great things, but it’s also about supporting those around you.
Well done to all of our Engineering students this year. They have all worked tremendously hard and have put together some great projects. When it came down to deciding the winner here is what one of our Engineering tutors, Phil Jagger had to say.
We had seven nominees, but to be honest there could have been so many more, it was a really difficult task, and choosing a winner….wow.. we changed our mind at least three times. However we were really pleased with our final winner who showed how by working really hard you can achieve great things, but it’s also about supporting those around you – Philip Jagger
