On 10th June we hosted our Engineer of the Year Awards for Year 1 and 2 learners across our Engineering T Level, BTEC AAQ and Level 2 courses; and what a turnout! With over 60 learners attending (and even more who would have joined if not for exams), the event was a brilliant chance to recognise the incredible achievements of our students.
From academic success and workshop skills to CAD expertise and over 35 hours of industry visits and guest talks, our learners have truly excelled this year. Eight standout students were shortlisted from an impressive pool of nominees: no easy task!
A huge congratulations to our winner, Kacper Wickzkowski, whose passion, dedication, and support for both peers and the department have been exceptional. Kacper was presented with a set of precision measuring tools by Assistant Principal Andrew Pritchard.
A well-deserved celebration of talent, hard work, and the future of engineering; well done to all involved!
Additionally, it was a great opportunity to say goodbye to our year 2 learner’s, we wish them all the best in their next step on their exciting journeys.
