Bexhill College Football Academy alumnus Jack Taylor has signed a professional contract with Sutton United.
Before making his mark at Sutton United, Jack honed his skills in the Football Academy at Bexhill Sixth Form College in association with the Chelsea Football Club Foundation. In his first year with Bexhill College’s football academy, Jack played in numerous matches with the first team, making a big impact, and was subsequently scouted by Sutton United to sign a scholarship deal in July of 2022. Jack quickly became a valuable member of the Sutton Academy team where last season he also played in the Surrey Senior Cup and scored in the 3-0 victory at Merstham. His impressive performances in the academy and loan spells have earned him his first professional contract with Sutton United, a League 2 club in the EFL.
In an interview with the club, Jack said: ”It’s something I’ve been working towards since I started playing when I was about four or five, and now it’s here I’m over the moon to have signed that paper.”
Bexhill College, renowned for its outstanding education and opportunities, has a track record of producing successful alumni, with Taylor poised to make a significant impact in this league of English football, joining the likes of former Bexhill College students Leon Legge and, more recently, Fletcher Holman.
