We would like to congratulate an international alumnus from Slovakia, Tomas Kovac, and the entire team at @lnxrobots on being crowned Junior European Champions at the RoboCup Junior European Championships Soccer Open in Hanover, Germany.
The RoboCup 2:2 Arena in Hanover, Germany.
Tomas studied Computer Science, Mathematics, and Electronics at Bexhill College in 2023 and was a valued member of the ‘Design and Make Club’ enrichment. He used this time to make components and mechanisms for LNX Robot’s footballing robots in our Engineering Workshop, including the polished reflective domes and moulded spindles.

This fantastic achievement was backed up by a second-place finish at the RoboCup Junior World Championships in Eindhoven, Netherlands in July, with LNX Robots once again placing higher than all other teams from Europe. A big congratulations to the group and well done to all involved in the process!
If you would like to join us to study engineering, electronics or a variety of other courses at Bexhill College, you can apply now using our online application form or via Careers East Sussex if you are a local student.
