Last year, our first‑year A‑level Graphic Design students took on an exciting live brief with Lorna Crabbe of the Hastings Traditional Jack in the Green Committee to design a logo for this year’s festival.
Students submitted their work for professional feedback, and the committee selected six winning designs to be turned into badges for the 2026 festival.
This project was a brilliant opportunity for our students to experience working with a real client, and thanks to funding from the committee, the college was able to invest in new lino‑cutting tools, enabling some fantastic creative responses.
